"it is easier to attend a class and do the assigned workout. What I love most about this, is that the routines change completely almost every week. My endurance has greatly improved: initially I wasn’t able to do a traditional pushup."

Fitness Journey TrAk BOB

What have you accomplished in your life that you’re most proud of?

I’m most proud of having become a dentist and now an assistant director of the Dental GPR Residency

Program at Summa.

If you could take 3 months off and do whatever you wanted, what would that time look like?

I would take a 2-month trip to Europe and blend into their culture, dining, hiking, and taking long

walks. The last month would be spent working in my garden.

How did you feel before you found TrAK?

Ok – I belonged to another gym, but had to plan workouts on my own. No motivation to come or

encouragement during the workouts.

How do you feel now?

Great – it is easier to attend a class and do the assigned workout. What I love most about this, is that the routines change completely almost every week. My endurance has greatly improved: initially I wasn’t able to do a traditional pushup.

How has TrAK changed your everyday life?

I feel more energized and stronger. Have new friends.

Goals… personal, professional, family?

Improve myself as I get ready to turn 60, get stronger and more flexible. Plan for retirement.

If you were in a band what existing band/group do you see yourself in?

Wetleg

Best place to travel that you’ve ever been?

Rovinj, Croatia with second close place being Prague, Czech Republic.

What personal failure has helped lead to your ultimate success?

I initially struggled academically in college, so I had to apply myself to studying more than my

classmates. By doing so, I was able to increase my GPA and get into dental school and succeed.

What three people (living or dead) would you go camping with next weekend?

Bear Grylls, Fr. John Fiala (Medina) Lilac hybridizer, and Giada De Laurentiis.

Which sport/activity would you love to do, but are afraid to?

Zip-lining.

Funniest things you’ve seen your partner do?

Put a pair of reading glasses over his sunglasses.

Favorite movie?

‘Legally Blonde’

Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Treat people/patients as your friends!

At what age were you in the best shape of your life?

I think it might be at this point of my life.

Words to live by or favorite quote?

“A mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work if it is not open.” Frank Zappa

What adventure do you plan to have in the future?

I hope to go to Antarctica within the next year or so.

Favorite book and why?

“Fahrenheit 451” by Ray Bradbury. It has an interesting twist: Its portrayal of a future where books are

banned and Firemen burn the books, showing the stark warning about the consequences of losing

critical thinking and creativity.

What do you like most about being a part of the TrAK Family?

I love the comradery and support of the TrAK Family.

Biggest accomplishment at the gym?

I feel I have been able to maintain my weight while adding muscle mass. And I believe I have improved

my cardiac health.
