
What have you accomplished in your life that you're most proud of?
Earning a Master's degree, being part of the 1% having run a marathon.
If you could take 3 months off and do whatever you wanted, what would that time look like?
I would love to travel with time carved out for a nap every single day. I love a nap.
How did you feel before you found TrAk?
I was newly postpartum and I felt slow, out of shape, uncomfortable in my own skin and embarrassed of my body and how it was so different than pre-pregnancy and pre-pandemic life.
How do you feel now?
I've come a long way! I feel much more comfortable with myself, I'm getting stronger and finally feel like after 2 years I have accomplished some awesome stuff in and out of the gym. I'm proud of myself again.
How has TrAk changed your everyday life?
By just being open- and having noon class! Without TrAk it would have been very hard to get back to exercise postpartum with COVID still hanging around and having to arrange childcare.
Goals...personal, professional, family?
PR the half marathon, run another marathon (someday would love to PR that too), Run a half marathon in every state, enjoy the ride, raise a confident and kind kid, travel to all the places!
If you were in a band what existing band/group do you see yourself in?
My favorite artist is Taylor Swift, so it would be an honor to be associated with her songwriting.
Best place to travel that you've ever been?
Australia. I want to live there.
What do your kids remind you that’s ok to do?
I have a toddler, he laughs a lot, it reminds me to laugh too.
What personal failure has helped lead to your ultimate success?
Multiple failures of different kinds in school lead me to where I am today.
What’s the craziest thing you've seen in the gym?
Hickseys rock collection back in 2020 when we were still in boxes.
What three people [living or dead] would you go camping with next weekend?
My paternal grandmother, Sebastian Maniscalco (comedian) and Mary Santora (comedian)
Which sport/activity would you love to do, but are afraid to?
Skateboard.
Funniest things you've seen your kid do?
Repeat the ridiculous things my husband says on a daily basis.
Favorite movie?
Tie between the Breakfast Club and Bring It On. I also love Marvel.
Best piece of advice you've ever received?
Don't look back, you're not going there.
At what age were you in the best shape of your life?
2016- I was under 30 and had no responsibilities, staying in shape WAS my life.
Words to live by or favorite quote?
Run the mile you're in. Applies to running and life.
What adventure do you plan to have in the future?
All the travel!
Favorite book and why?
I read a lot, so this is tough. Recently loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It's the perfect amount of glamour and mystery.
Something interesting we don't know about you?
I met my husband through someone I tried to date online.
What do you like most about being apart of the TrAk Family?
Everyone is so warm and friendly, you never feel awkward or like you aren't good enough to be there.
Biggest accomplishment at the gym?
Being able to do single leg exercises and not falling over. Progressing from a sad dead bug to doing a dead bug with my 20 lbs toddler on my legs and not dropping him!
