What have you accomplished in your life that you're most proud of?

My biggest accomplishment is being a mom, I am so incredibly proud of our two boys.

If you could take 3 months off and do whatever you wanted, what would that time look like?

I would take three months and travel and spend time with my family.  I love building memories with the kids and my husband.

How did you feel before you found TrAk?

I never felt strong before Trak.

How do you feel now?

Trak has made feel so much stronger and more mobile.  It has also helped me gain strength after knee surgery even through modifications.

How has TrAk changed your everyday life?

I feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing community.  I look forward to walking through the doors each day.  Even if I am not in the mood to workout, I always feel like if I can just make it through those doors, someone will always be there to motivate me.

Goals...personal, professional, family?

My biggest goal right now is to continue recovering from my knee surgery and get back to all my pre-injury activities.

If you were in a band what existing band/group do you see yourself  in?

First of all, I cannot sing or play an instrument so I will not be in a band anytime soon.  :) My favorite band is probably U2.

Best place to travel that you've ever been?

Any trip with the family is my favorite, but The Grand Tetons was one of the best.

What do your kids remind you that’s ok to do?

Live in the moment and dont take yourself too seriously.

What personal failure has helped lead to your ultimate success?

When I was younger, I cared far too much about what others had to think about me and it limited my confidence. Learning from this allowed me to embrace my sense of worth.

What’s the craziest thing you've seen in the gym?

Hunter hanging weights from her waist while doing pull ups!  Also seeing some of the guys pile up weights on the tallest box jump and not biting it!!

What three people [living or dead] would you go camping with next weekend?

My extended family is spread out all over the country, I would love one big family reunion.

Which sport/activity would you love to do, but are afraid to?

I think gymnasts are so talented. I have never had the guts to attempt anything other than a cartwheel!

Funniest things you've seen your kid do?

The funniest moment was when I looked at Life 360 one morning and I noticed my oldest (17 at the time) was going 125 MPH the night before!!!  I was literally reprimanding him trying to ask where on earth he was going that fast and how incredibly dangerous and ill responsible it was etc……… He said are you done????  Remember mom, I was flying!  He had a flight lesson the night before, he was in the airplane.  Apparently Life 360 doesn’t differentiate when you are in a car vs an airplane!!!

Favorite movie?

Iam a sucker for any Romantic comedy.  Im not sure I have a favorite but I will watch Titanic, The Proposal, The Notebook, Legally Blond, and Sweet Home Alabama, every time I see them on TV.

Best piece of advice you've ever received?

Nothing stays the same forever, good or bad.

At what age were you in the best shape of your life?

I have always been an active person.  I played sports and danced in my younger years.  I cant say when I was in the best shape of my life but I just turned 49 and my goal is to be in my best shape by the time I turn 50 next May!

Words to live by or favorite quote?

Make peace with your past so it doesnt effect your future.

What adventure do you plan to have in the future?

We have plans to go on an African Safari this summer and I cannot wait to have an awesome time with the family!

Favorite book and why?

I actually never take the time to read, when I do its usually an easy beach read on vacation.

Something interesting we don't know about you?

I LOVE raw cookie dough better than actual cookies.  I was an ultrasound technologist before I had kids.  I was registered to perform all ultrasound studies, but my favorite was OB.

What do you like most about being apart of the TrAk Family?

absolutely LOVE the COMMUNITY!!!  I fell skiing in February and tore my ACL and MCL and had surgery in March. I quickly realized how much I missed walking through the doors at Trak.  I received so many calls, texts, flowers and the most wonderful gift basket from this community.  It truly helped me get through and push through PT to be able to get back here.

Biggest accomplishment at the gym?

Honestly, just showing up and being consistent.   I wanted to do the Murph this year but my knee injury is preventing me……….next year!!!
