
How did you feel before you found TrAk?
-I trained 3-5 days/week at other gyms, but I was missing the community effect and holistic approach that TrAk offers.
How do you feel now?
-Better than I did in my 20's. I am overall much more balanced.
How has TrAk changed your everyday life?
-I have learned to love the 5 AM'ers, which puts me on pace for an extra-productive day.
Goals...personal, professional, family?
-To constantly sharpen the saw. I love learning new skills.
If you were in a band what existing band/group do you see yourself in?
-Zac Brown Band, which would then be called Matt Heinle Band
Best place to travel that you've ever been?
-Skiing the Japanese Alps.
What do your kids remind you that’s ok to do?
-Keep all things in perspective.
What personal failure has helped lead to your ultimate success?
-Not a failure per se, but I used to let people intimidate me. Then the lights went on.
What’s the craziest thing you've seen in the gym?
-Smiling people working out at 5 AM
What three people [living or dead] would you go camping with next weekend?
-My siblings because I don't get to spend quality time with them.
Which sport/activity would you love to do, but are afraid to?
-I would love to have been a world class skier.
Funniest things you've seen your kid do?
-Make fun of me no matter the situation.
Favorite movie?
-Casablanca
Best piece of advice you've ever received?
-Don't take yourself or others too seriously.
At what age were you in the best shape of your life?
-Now.

What adventure do you plan to have in the future?
-Hit all the big summer European sporting events in one trip.
Favorite book and why?
-The Leopard by Giuseppe Di Lampedusa. I normally read history, and this novel transported me to 1860's Sicily during the reunification.
Something interesting we don't know about you?
-I enjoy becoming local regardless of my location.

-The community is always welcoming and authentic.
Biggest accomplishment at the gym?
-Tall box jumps.
