What have you accomplished in your life that you're most proud of?

I am most proud of my children. They have grown to be amazing adults with talents (not from me), principles and integrity.

If you could take 3 months off and do whatever you wanted, what would that look like?

I would definitely travel: first within the US because there is still more I haven’t seen and then return to Great Britain.  I loved it when I went in my single years.

How did you feel before you found TrAk?

I was tired, stiff and sore most of the time.  Life was not very fun.

How do you feel now?

Now I have the energy to go out and find/make fun!  I am no longer content to just be home - life is too short.

How has TrAk changed your everyday life?

The quality of everyday life has improved.  I can play tag with my grandchildren and not lose my breath, rake leaves without being in agony the next day, bend/reach/lift with ease.  TrAk has given me more confidence in my abilities.

Goals...personal, professional, family?

I still have a weight loss goal that I am determined to reach this year.  I am also working towards a promotion at work. For my family, I want them to have no doubt that they are loved and first in my life so I am following the advice to “be where your feet are” and give them my total and deliberate attention.

If you were in a band, what existing band/group do you see yourself  in?

He is not a band but I would be thrilled to be part of Lincoln Brewster’s group. He is a worship leader at a megachurch in California but he rocks while bringing scripture alive with music.

Best place to travel that you've ever been?

I love,love,love St.Thomas! Sunshine, ocean, Megan’s Beach, snorkeling - amazing!

What do your kids remind you that’s ok to do?

Get a tattoo but I haven’t done it yet!

What’s the craziest thing you've seen in the gym?

Coach Brandon swinging from bar to bar on the rack like a gymnast.

What three people [living or dead] would you go camping with next weekend?

My dad because he was the best outdoorsman/hunter I have ever met, my friend Jonalynn because she has just discovered the joys of camping and her enthusiasm is adorable, and the Rev. Billy Graham for the opportunity to learn from his wisdom and guidance.

Which sport/activity would you love to do, but are afraid to?

I have always thought luging looked like so much fun and I do like speed.

Funniest things you've seen your kid do?

My son trying to swim in the bathtub.  I only realized what he was doing when I saw water dripping from a light fixture in the downstairs hall.  It was like being in a 3 Stooges episode.

Favorite movie?

This is hard because I have so many.  One that I never pass up when it is on TV is The Natural. The photography is simply outstanding with every shot just perfect. I’m not even a baseball fan but that one is the one to watch.

At what age were you in the best shape of your life?

It may seem odd but I peaked at 30.  I was an overweight teen and it wasn’t until my twenties that I got serious about fitness and nutrition. Not too surprisingly, that was when I met my husband lol.

Words to live by or favorite quote?

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

What adventure do you plan to have in the future?

Drive to see my brother in Arkansas.

Favorite book and why?

I have to name a series: The Circle Series by Ted Dekker. It is the story of the most amazing action hero, Thomas Hunter, who falls asleep in one world and awakens in another world of the future. It has all the intrigue and mystery you could want but carries a deep message.

Something interesting we don't know about you?

Most don’t know that I am not a native Ohioian.  I grew up in a very rural area called Sunshine Hollow outside of Uniontown, PA. And though I don’t listen to country music, I am a country girl at heart.

What do you like most about being apart of the TrAk Family?

I truly enjoy my time at the gym (despite my occassional groaning). The members and coaches make it worth the effort every time.  I never leave thinking that I should have been doing something else. It is an actual community.

Biggest accomplishment at the gym?

So far: jumping lunges!
